New "Coraline" Trailer

Trailer Addict has posted an exclusive trailer for the upcoming animated film "Coraline". The film is produced using stop-motion animation instead of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and is based on Neil Gaiman's novella of the same name. It is directed by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and features the voices of Dakota Fanning, Ian McShane, Teri Hatcher and Keith David.

The film tells the story of a young girl (Dakota Fanning) who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home in Ashland, Oregon, and enters into an adventure in a parallel reality. On the surface, this other world eerily mimics her own life—though much more fantastical. In it, Coraline encounters such off-kilter inhabitants as the morbidly funny Miss Forcible (Jennifer Saunders) and Miss Spink (Dawn French), and a counterfeit mother—who attempts to keep her. Ultimately, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.

"Coraline" is scheduled for release in North America on February 6, 2009 and in Malaysia on March 19, 2009.
