New "Banlieue 13 Ultimatum" Poster and Trailer

The new movie poster for the upcoming French action flick "Banlieue 13 Ultimatum" has just hit the net. Click the image above to enlarge it. The film is directed by Patrick Alessandrin and produced by Luc Besson.

Cyril Raffaelli and David Belle are back in action in this sequel to 2004's "Banlieue 13" aka "District B13". Just who exactly are these two guys, you ask? Well, Raffaelli is a French martial artist and stuntman who is skilled in karate and wushu. He is a regular in Luc Besson's films and I best remember him as one of the twins who fight with Jet Li at the end of "Kiss of the Dragon" (2001). Belle on the other hand comes from a family of firefighters and excels in climbing, gymnastics and martial arts. He is widely credited as the founder of parkour (the art of movement). A notable potrayal of parkour can be seen in the beginning of "Casino Royale" (2006), when James Bond chases a bomb-maker through a construction site.

"Banlieue 13 Ultimatum" is due to be released in France on February 18, 2009.
