"Watchmen" Graphic Novel Gets Animated

Zack Snyder's adaptation of the most celebrated graphic novel of all time "Watchmen" will be released in theatres tomorrow and some of you may want to read the source material first for comparison. However, if you're one of those people who are just too lazy to read, fret not because Warner Home Video has just released "Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic" on Blu-Ray and DVD. Check out the trailer above for a sneak peek.

The motion comic uses Dave Gibbons' original illustrations from the graphic novel, panel by panel, and enhances them with various animation techniques so that they appear to move. Just like the original graphic novel, the motion comic is presented in 12 chapters and has a total running time of approximately 5 hours. The narration of the story and dialogues of all the characters (including females!) are provided by actor Tom Stechschulte.
