First Look At Russell Crowe As "Robin Hood"
"He doesn't have the old Robin Hood tights," says producer Brian Grazer. "He's got armour. He's very medieval. He looks, if anything, more like he did in Gladiator than anything we're used to seeing with Robin Hood."

"Transformers 2" Showest Footage
MichaelBay.com has uploaded a new footage from "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" which premiered at this year's Showest. The footage features Shia LaBeouf talking to Bumblebee about going to college, followed by various clips from the film. Now, I would like to know how the hell is it possible for a giant robot to shed tears?
"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is scheduled for release on June 24, 2009.
UPDATE: Paramount Pictures is currently removing the above footage from the internet. According to Michael Bay's blog, this is what he has to say:
"The Showest footage was pulled down because it was just a 12-hour thing. I just wanted the fans to get a taste of what we have been making for a year and a half because we have been so quiet. The piece was cut about a month ago for this Showest thing I accepted this past month - so as you can see many of the shots were far from being finished renders".

Steven Spielberg Says "Transformers 2" Is Awesome
Michael Bay screened "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" for Steven Spielberg on Wednesday and according to Bay, Spielberg said that the film is awesome. This is what Bay wrote on his online forum:
"Steven Spielberg sat next to me in a big 100 person theatre at Sony today. There were 98 empty seats. The lights came up after we just watched my cut of Revenge of the Fallen. He turned to me and said "It's awesome". He felt this movie was better than the first - and probably my best, who knows - at this point in a movie you start to lose your objectivity. I just hope the fans like it."
Wow, if Steven Spielberg says "Transformers 2" is awesome, then the film will definitely gonna be kick-ass. Bay also mentioned in his forum that the new trailer for the film will be attached to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", which hits theatres on May 1st.

Fox Chairman Speaks About "Wolverine" Leak
"The version that went out is unfinished. It's about 10 minutes shorter, doesn't have key scenes, it wasn't edited, and none of the effects shots were in any remotely final form. It's a complete misrepresentation of the film and is deeply unfair to the people who have worked on it for years."
Rothman also says that the FBI is zeroing in on the culprits and he feels confident that they'll be able to name the perpetrators soon. Early reports named Rising Sun Pictures, an Australian special effects house that worked on the movie, as a possible suspect due to a watermark with their logo on some scenes. However, they have denied any wrongdoing and claim to only have in possession individual sections of the film, not the complete print. Regardless, this incident will most certainly change the way the studio does business with special effects houses and post production facilities in the future.
